Nurse Suspended for using ‘Feviquick’: घाव पर टांके की जगह नर्स ने लगाया फेविक्विक, सरकारी अस्पताल की नर्स सस्पेंड

बेंगलुरु: nurse suspended for using ‘Feviquick’, कर्नाटक के एक सरकारी अस्पताल में घाव पर टांके लगाने के बजाय ‘फेवीक्विक’ का इस्तेमाल करने वाली नर्स को निलंबित कर दिया गया। फेवीक्विक एक ऐसा रासायनिक पदार्थ है, जो दो चीजों को बेहद मजबूती से चिपका देता है। राज्य सरकार के मुख्य सचिव की अध्यक्षता में बुधवार को हुई बैठक में नर्स को निलंबित करने का फैसला लिया गया।

स्वास्थ्य एवं परिवार कल्याण सेवा आयुक्त कार्यालय की ओर से जारी बयान के अनुसार, “फेवीक्विक’ एक चिपकने वाला घोल है, नियमों के तहत इसके चिकित्सा उपयोग की अनुमति नहीं है। इस मामले में, बच्चे के इलाज में ‘फेवीक्विक’ का इस्तेमाल करके ड्यूटी में लापरवाही बरतने के लिए जिम्मेदार स्टाफ नर्स को प्रारंभिक रिपोर्ट के बाद निलंबित कर दिया गया और नियमों के अनुसार जांच लंबित है।”

घटना 14 जनवरी को हावेरी जिले की हनागल तालुका के अदूर प्राथमिक स्वास्थ्य केंद्र में उस समय हुई, जब सात वर्षीय गुरुकिशन अन्नप्पा होसामनी को उसके माता-पिता गाल पर गहरे घाव से बहुत अधिक खून बहने के लिए लेकर गये थे।

माता-पिता ने नर्स का एक वीडियो रिकॉर्ड किया, जिसमें नर्स यह कहकर उनकी चिंता को दूर करने की कोशिश रही थी कि वह वर्षों से ऐसा करती आ रही है और यह बेहतर है क्योंकि टांके लगाने से बच्चे के चेहरे पर स्थायी निशान रह जाएगा। बाद में उन्होंने आधिकारिक शिकायत दर्ज कराई और वीडियो भी दिखाया।

वीडियो साक्ष्य के बावजूद नर्स ज्योति को निलंबित करने के बजाय अधिकारियों ने उसे तीन फरवरी को हावेरी तालुका के गुत्थल स्वास्थ्य संस्थान में स्थानांतरित कर दिया, जिससे लोगों में आक्रोश फैल गया। बयान के मुताबिक, जिस बच्चे का उपचार किया गया, उसका स्वास्थ्य अच्छा है और संबंधित स्वास्थ्य अधिकारियों को किसी भी प्रतिकूल प्रभाव की निगरानी करने के निर्देश दिए गए हैं।
