कोण्डागांव वनमंडल द्वारा सात हजार से अधिक गर्डलिंग वृक्षों की सूची तैयार, अब होगी कड़ी कार्यवाही

कोण्डागांव। आदिम संस्कृति में सदैव वनों का अत्यधिक महत्व रहा है परन्तु समय के साथ आबादी के विस्तार के साथ एवं आधुनिक संस्कृति के विस्तार से अब लोग वनों एवं वृक्षों के महत्व को भुलाकर अपनी महत्वाकांक्षा को पूरा करने के लिये वनों के नाश से भी नहीं हिचकिचा रहें है। इसी का उदाहरण कोण्डागांव वनमण्डल के अन्तर्गत माकड़ी अमरावती क्षेत्र के वनों पर देखने को मिला है। जहां स्थानीय लोगों द्वारा भूमि अतिक्रमण करने के लिये पेड़ों को गर्डलिंग पद्धति के माध्यम से सूखा कर मारने का प्रयास किया जा रहा है। जिसे ध्यान में रखते हुए वनों के संरक्षण एवं लोगों के वनों पर अतिक्रमण के प्रयास को रोकने के लिये कलेक्टर पुष्पेन्द्र कुमार मीणा के निर्देश पर वन विभाग द्वारा वृहद स्तर पर गर्डलिंग एवं वन अतिक्रमण के विरूद्ध अभियान चलाया जा रहा है। इस संबंध में कोण्डगांव वनमण्डल के वनमण्डलाधिकारी उत्तम कुमार गुप्ता ने बताया कि जिले में कुछ ग्राम पंचायतों में स्थानीय वनवासियों द्वारा वृक्षों को साफ कर भूमि पर अतिक्रमण करने के लिए वृक्षों की गर्डलिंग कर उन्हें सुखाने का प्रयास किया जा रहा है। जिसके विरूद्ध वनमण्डल द्वारा कार्यवाही किये जाने हेतु अभियान चलाया जा रहा है। इनमें ऐसे व्यक्ति जिन्हें वनाधिकार पत्र प्राप्त हुआ है साथ ही वे जिन्हें वनाधिकार पत्र नहीं प्राप्त हुआ है वे भी वन भूमि पर अतिक्रमण करने की इच्छा से गर्डलिंग जैसी वनों को नुकसान पहुंचाने वाली अनैतिक गतिविधियों में शामिल है। जिसके लिये नामजद सूची तैयार की जा रही है। इसके बाद इनके विरूद्ध आपराधिक प्रकरण दर्ज कर सख्त कार्यवाही की जायेगी। ऐसे व्यक्ति जिनके द्वारा अधिक मात्रा में वृक्षों को नुकसान पहुंचाया गया है ऐसे व्यक्तियों के खिलाफ कोर्ट में चालान किया जायेगा साथ ही उनसे वनों को क्षति पहुंचाने के लिये कड़ा अर्थदण्ड भी वसुल किया जायेगा। अभी तक माकड़ी अमरावती क्षेत्र में ही 7 हजार से अधिक पेड़ों की सूची तैयार की गई है तथा संबंधित व्यक्तियों के विरूद्ध वन अपराध प्रकरण दर्ज किये जा रहे हैं साथ ही ऐसे वृक्ष जो पूर्णतः नहीं सूखे हैं उनमें गोबर एवं मिट्टी का लेप लगाकर उन्हें बचाने का प्रयास किया जा रहा है। उल्लेखनीय है कि वृक्षों की कटाई से पर्यावरण पर सीधा प्रभाव पड़ता है जिससे वनों का क्षेत्रफल निरन्तर घटता जा रहा है। इससे भविष्य में पानी एवं जंगली जानवरों के लिये आवास जैसी समस्याओं का हमें सामना करना पड़ेगा।
